Ancient Order of Free Gardeners (USA)

Founded in Scotland in the middle of the 17th century and later spread to England and Ireland.

In 1956, due to falling attendances in Scotland, the Grand Lodge charter was transferred to Cape Town, South Africa.

The Charter has recently returned to Scotland and a Grand Lodge was set up in Kelty in Fife.
